Overview
If you are looking to combine your love of theatrical arts and your desire to make a difference, Trevecca's bachelor's degree in Theatre Education may be right for you!
The Theatre Education program is designed to prepare students for a teaching career. The major in theatre education not only equips students with educational theatre skills, but it also certifies them nationally through NCATE with professional licensure for teaching theatre to grades 7-12.
This program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Communication Studies and the School of Education. The School of Education collaborates with area schools to provide students observation and teaching experiences to enhance their learning. Students' education experience will culminate in student teaching or enrolling in the fifth year master’s program for a year-long internship.
What our students say
"The staff and advisors are really great. They are there to help you choose the right classes and give great advice if needed."
