Teachers in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields are in high demand, and the collaboration between Trevecca’s physics department and School of Education, graduates of this program will gain a well-balanced knowledge of physics and teaching, to take full advantage of this growing field.

Trevecca physics students benefit from one-on-one interaction with faculty inside and outside the classroom, a nurturing Christian environment and broad liberal arts curriculum, in order to best prepare them for teaching grades six through twelve.

Earning your degree in a strong Christian community means you’ll be growing your education and worldview, without sacrificing your beliefs and values. Our small class sizes allow you to focus on different research, projects or assignments on a deeper level.

At Trevecca, students and faculty work together in a dynamic environment that provides unique opportunities for research. To broaden the student experience, faculty actively collaborate with other universities and corporations.

Trevecca’s physics education program offers unique classroom, lab and research experiences. You’ll have opportunities to work alongside professors on a variety of projects, from near-space research to electron microscopy and from digital electronics to working with a solar telescope, you’ll gain hands-on experience you can’t get just anywhere.
