Overview
Where education meets Christian community
"I have learned more in the past six weeks than I have learned in my twenty years of being a minister." -Judy Jones, student.
Built on a foundation of biblical faith, Trevecca University operates under the belief that God has a unique plan and purpose for your life. Whether you have a call to full-time Christian ministry, or simply want to grow in your faith and increase your impact as a lay minister, you will benefit from an educational environment that aligns with your values and goals. With this in mind, we created the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry program. This degree-completion program is offered fully online and will provide you with the tools you need to be an effective steward of your time, talents and resources.
If you are looking at learning, growing and thriving in Christian ministry, the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry is a great place to start.
At Trevecca, we desire to cultivate a community built on Christian service. To achieve this, we focus our curriculum on four key areas:
- Holistic mindset
- Missional vision
- Servant leadership skills
- Ministry competence
While enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry program, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with students and professors who share your beliefs and your passion for ministry. Courses in the Christian Ministry program may be used toward meeting requirements for ordination (prior course approval from the ordaining organization is recommended).
You've worked hard to get where you are, and we believe your life experiences should count for something. For this reason, we offer college credit for various certifications, assessments and professional experiences accrued during your time away from school. Upon enrollment, Trevecca’s team of advisors will work directly with you to complete a Prior Learning Assessment to ensure your life’s work isn’t overlooked.
Need some extra hours, or looking to tailor your degree? Trevecca offers courses that can be taken for general elective credit in the following areas:
- Health Care Administration
- Information Technology
- Psychology
- Management and Leadership
Upon enrollment, your advisor will work on adding any elective courses you may need to your schedule.
