The Bachelor of Science in business is a degree-completion program, specifically designed for working adults who have previously earned up to 40 credit hours. Taught by graduate-level professors with real-world business experience, this program is ideal for passionate and motivated students who seek a comprehensive and academically challenging educational experience.
Although our business degree covers all the core business degree curricula—including management, marketing, economics, accounting, statistics and finance—and will likely push students to grow in a variety of new ways, it’s uniquely created to be completed by those with full schedules, busy lives and family commitments.
The Bachelor of Science in business is 100 percent online, delivered in a cohort model, where you study alongside other adult students with similar lives and commitments. You’ll take one six-week class at a time and study when it’s convenient for you. All classes are delivered asynchronously, meaning you choose when and where you learn, according to your schedule.
Graduates will earn a solid, traditional business degree and will be equipped to pursue a variety of in-demand professions, including those in management, marketing, sales, finance, accounting and more.

Biblical Perspectives
BML 3150
In this course, students will explore and articulate the foundational themes of the Bible. The course is designed to foster a Christian worldview from a Wesleyan perspective. The course encourages the integration of faith, learning, and living.
Principles of Management and Leadership
BAML 4330
Students will examine research-based management and leadership principles. Students are asked to analyze and synthesize concepts and skills to which they have been exposed throughout the program. Students examine motivational theories, the situational leadership theory, and servant leadership principles in relation to their application in organizational settings and in light of a Christian worldview. The course concludes with students articulating their personal philosophy of management and leadership through a comprehensive final assessment.

An introduction to the Windows environment and the Microsoft Office Suite basic software programs Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare students to successfully complete courses for the BS in Business degree completion program.

This course presents general marketing principles and develops a manager’s insight into how an organization makes product, pricing, and promotion decisions based on their understanding of customer behavior.
Principles of Macroeconomics

An introduction to the study of macroeconomics with an emphasis on the issues of inflation, unemployment and growth. Prerequisite to all advanced courses in the department except as noted.

Principles of Accounting I

Provides students with a basic understanding of the role of accounting information in business. Focuses on business operating processes throughout the management planning, performing and evaluating cycles. Intended to open the door on understanding the world of business, provide insights on how businesses operate, and enable students to become familiar with the conventions used by businesses to report to those who need to know more about the business.

Provides students with a basic understanding of the role of accounting information in business. Focuses on business financing and investing events throughout the management planning, performing, and evaluating cycles. The Legal Environment of Business
BSN 4100
This course provides fundamental knowledge of legal concepts and principles important to business decision-making. Topics include the legal system, torts and product liability, contracts, agency, forms of business organization, employment law and government regulation.
Statistics for Business and Economics I
BSN 3000
An introduction to statistical tools in the context of managerial and economic decision making. Topics include classification and tabulation of data, tables and charts, descriptive summary measure, and frequency distributions. Correlation, linear regression, and process control charts are introduced.
Business Finance

An introduction to the principles of financial management including the time value of money, risk and return, capital budgeting, sources and costs of capital, financial instruments, and financial statement analysis.
