Curriculum Vitae

Tandy Taylor has lived in Music City USA all of her life. She is one of seven children and has enjoyed the blessings that go along with being part of a large family. She strongly believes that teaching is a calling and she answered that call at a very early age. Originally majoring in speech and drama, she redirected her teaching interests to grades K-6 when a junior in college. After graduating, she met her husband, Mike, and spent the next 32 years teaching kindergarten through sixth grades and working as an Instructional Coach in the Metro Nashville Public School System. She is passionate about teaching and has seen the impact that Christian educators can have on their students, families, and colleagues. While teaching at Trevecca, she strives to bring relevant instructional experiences to her students in school settings. Her greatest joy is found in preparing teacher candidates to answer their call to teach.
