Scott Ward, from Chicago, Illinois, teaches finance and economics. His studies at Rochester, Indiana, and U.S.C. focused on corporate finance and economic policy. Included were fiscal policy, monetary policy, and the regulation of business, especially financial services. He has previously taught at The Master’s College, East Texas Baptist University, The University of Missouri, Texas A&M University, and the University of Rochester. Prior to his career as an educator, he worked in banking and management consulting. He has presented papers at conferences and has been published in Policy Studies Journal. His honors include Beta Gamma Sigma (national business honor society), Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (chosen four times), and the Excellence in Teaching Award for Trevecca’s MSM/MBA Program (twice). He lives in Hermitage with his wife, Karen, and their children—Mark and Heather
