Biography


Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Paul Christianson is the coordinator of keyboard studies at Trevecca. Dr. Christianson was the state winner of the Idaho Music Teachers Association Collegiate Artist competition for piano in 1987 and placed second in the Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta music competition in 1990. He and his wife are the parents of three children. Dr. Christianson received Trevecca’s Teaching Excellence Award in 2000.

    Accolades and Honors


  • Original composition, "Nocturne," was published in the Fall 1988 edition of College Musician magazine.
  • Performed as the pianist for Ludwig van Beethoven's "Choral Fantasy, Opus 80" in April 2014.
