Dr. Burger teaches Marketing Research, Statistics, and Marketing Management in both the graduate and undergraduate business programs at Trevecca. Dr. Burger’s doctorate included a major in Marketing and minors in Statistics and Quantitative Analysis. Before coming to Trevecca, Dr. Burger taught at the University of Virginia, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Regent University. He has published in Journal of Biblical Integration in Business, Psychology and Marketing, The Case Research Journal, and The Journal of Marketing Education. He has also presented papers at the Christian Business Faculty Association, the Southern Marketing Association, and the Academy of Marketing Science. He was named the Southeast Master Teacher, Sam Walton Fellow, and Trevecca Graduate Business Faculty award winner during his teaching career. Prior to starting his own business, Dr. Burger was the director of the Business Development Center at the University of Virginia and worked with the Center for the Management of Science and Technology at the University of Alabama. He also served in the United States Air Force where he commanded an engineering team in the Pacific Theater and later served as a program and systems analyst at the Pentagon. Dr. Burger and his wife Beverly live in Franklin, Tennessee, have three adult sons and two grandchildren, and are members of New Hope Community Church.
