Biography


Jo Ellen Werking Weedman spent 10 years in daily newsrooms before beginning her teaching career. In addition to teaching, she oversees the award-winning student newspaper, The TrevEchoes and serves as the director of public relations and communication for Rejoice School of Ballet, a non-profit ballet school in East Nashville focused on diversity and access to arts. She lives in East Nashville with her husband Micah, her four daughters and her two dogs.
