Biography

Professor Blake Houchin works in the department of music as an assistant professor in audio and recording technology. In addition to teaching, he coordinates all performances on and off campus for the department, maintains the school music technology lab, and is the manager of the university’s music recording studio. Houchin has extensive experience in theatrical stage and house management in the Nashville area and frequently works as a recording engineer. Originally from Madison, Tenn., Houchin and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Cheyenne and Cree.
