Ben Jorge teaches Foundations of Biology, General Biology, Issues in Science, Neuroscience, Ecology, and Environmental Science. His area of expertise is Neuroscience. In graduate school, he worked in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Kearney to identify and characterize genetic modifiers of epilepsy. His current research focuses on identifying the effects of common environmental toxins on the nervous system using the nematode C. elegans as a model system.
