With science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) jobs projected to grow by 9 million between now and 2024, our highly qualified faculty will use their diverse cultural and professional backgrounds to ensure you get a well-rounded learning experience with opportunities for field work, research, design projects, internships and more. Our holistic approach seeks to help you grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually.
The Department of Science, Engineering and Mathematics offers programs in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. Through partnerships with other local universities, we offer degrees in nursing and 3-2 engineering programs. We also offer degrees in math, biology, chemistry and physics education. Our faculty advisers can help you to tailor your coursework and research to build the foundation you’ll need for admission to graduate programs. In fact, many of our students have been accepted to highly competitive graduate programs in a wide range of health fields, mathematics, and the sciences. Our integrated department allows students to more effectively plan courses and double major, which opens the door to interdisciplinary STEM careers.
With all of our professors holding the most advanced degrees in their field, this program combines Christian beliefs and values with small ratio classes to create programs that excel in integrity, academics and research.
