Osborne earns promotion to VP of Graduate & Adult Education at Trevecca

Trevecca Nazarene University has promoted Dr. Patrick Osborne to vice president of graduate and adult education, school officials announced.

Osborne has served in academic leadership roles at Trevecca since 2019, and was named an associate provost earlier this year. Previously, he worked as a vice president and general manager with Lamar Advertising, where he gained experience in a variety of markets over the course of 16 years.

“Besides providing great leadership, Patrick has been instrumental in creating connections and partnerships for strategic growth at Trevecca,” Provost Dr. Tom Middendorf said. “We’re excited about our direction as he takes on an expanded role in our programming for non-traditional students.”

This summer, Osborne helped Trevecca obtain a $1 million Tennessee Department of Education grant that will allow teachers statewide to earn free endorsements in either special education or English as a second language through TNU.

A 2015 graduate of Trevecca’s Doctor of Education in leadership program, Osborne earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Morehead State University.

Osborne has served with the Nashville Sports Council since 2012. He is an alumni board member at Morehead State, where he’s also established a scholarship fund, and is a past alumni board member with the Ohio Valley Conference. He has also served as vice president of the Outdoor Advertising Association. In the community, Osborne has contributed support to a number of local organizations, including Grace Church of the Nazarene, the Nashville Rescue Mission, Second Harvest Food Bank, the Wounded Warrior Project and House2Home Nashville.
